Your greatest triumph is at hand--you're about to win the coveted World Wrestling Federation's Heavyweight Championship. But as you nail your finishing move, a "heel" ruins the match. You chase after him, only to find Vince McMahon stricken by the news that his daughter Stephanie has been kidnapped. Your goal is to solve the mystery behind her disappearance and save her from her captors. Should you succeed, Vince will restore your title as Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Play as The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, or the Undertaker in your quest to save Stephanie and reclaim your title. Along the way, use each wrestler's signature moves to thrash your enemies, take on referees, and battle bosses that will lead you to Titan Towers and Stephanie. WWF Betrayal's six environments will have you smashing cars, duking it out atop subways, and much more. And, because you're in hot pursuit, you'll have to rely on your environments for your weapons, using such items as trash cans, fire extinguishers, sledgehammers, and baseball bats. You'll definitely need them to defeat this game's deadly thugs and overcome its lethal levels, complete with steam blasts, fire, lasers, security systems, and more.

Cartridge Only -It seems that there's a conspiracy afoot in the WWF! All of the other wrestlers have conspired against you, kidnapped Stephanie McMahon, and stolen the WWF Heavyweight Title belt. Choose to play as the Rock, Triple H, the Undertaker, or Stone Cold Steve Austin in this story-based wrestling game. You'll roam the streets, taking down thugs and seeking out valuable information along your journey to redemption. There'll be plenty of objects to pick up and throw, scenery to destroy, and havoc to wreak, but the only weapons you'll be given are your own bare fists and a solid pair of boots. Other weapons (steel pipes, cakes, and mailboxes) are available, though you'll have to defeat a few foes to earn them. Tons of power-ups are strewn throughout the game, but you'll be lucky if you can free up the time and energy to get to them. Awesome graphics, tough boss characters, and a great story make this one unique wrestling title.

Look out! You've been stripped of the WWE title and Stephanie McMahon has been kidnapped! (and who cares?) So you must get her back (unfortunately)which will also return the championship belt to your possession (the things superstars go through for that damn thing...)Playing as The Rock,Stone Cold(What?),Triple H,or the Undertaker, you'll battle through this action/adventure game,THQ's first WWF GBC title. Featuring a ton of vicious weapons and nasty moves, the game's 6 levels will take wrestling out of the ring and into the streets.

If anione likes wrestling as much as i do GET THIS GAME NOW!!!!. Stephanie McMahon has been kidnapped and Vince will give the championship to whoever brings her back. YOU CAN : Play as 4 WWF superstars like austin, the rock, undertaker and triple H. Unfold the misterie of stephanie"s kidnapping. Overcome deadly enemies and obstacles and battle trough 6 interactive levels. this is an awesome game for all of you wrestling fans. And the only thing I can say is IS TRUE! IS TRUE!.

Betrayal is the worst wwf game that will ever be made. It is so bad that you will seel it or throw it away. You will end up selling it to a store because nobody will want it.Every character is the same so it doesn't matter who you are. The only difference is the finishing moves but it does the same amount of damage. The Stone Cold Stunner looke like a bulldog, you will end up breaking your gameboy because you have to keep pressing buttons when you are dizzy. Each level takes about 30 seconds and there are only 6 levels. Also, there are only 4 characters. The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. I am a wwf fan, and I still hate this game. I don't even play it anymore. I beat the game with every character in about 1 hour. A 4 year old could beat this game in 2 hours. DO NOT BUY OR EVEN RENT THIS GAME!!!!!IT IS A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!

This game is bad. Every character is the same except for their finishing moves. I beat the game with every character in less than one day. The graphics are bad and it is PATHETIC!!!

This game is unique because its differant from all the other WWF games. You cast the role of four of today's top wwf superstars: Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker. You start in the ring where one of them steals the WWF title from you in a match. Afterward, Vince McMahon tells you his daughter has been kidnapped and he wants you to find her. If you find her you will become the WWF champion! You play through six levels of knocking business men, police men and innocent people senseless. From the locker rooms to a helicopter pad. Note: there are three bosses to wrestle through out the game. Note #2: This is a very short game but you'll be tempted to play it over and over again. The grapics are solid but the color is a bit dull. Each Superstar has a limited amount of moves like kicking, punching and his own trademark and finishing moves designed to lay the Smackdown! The Rock: spine buster and rock bottom, Stone Cold Steve Austin: lou thez press and stunner, Triple H: face buster and pedigree, The Undertaker: choke slam and last ride. You can also use your enviroment as a weapon by destroying stuff and taking kendo sticks from other guys. And if you press continue, enter the password 4232. It activates debug mode. And you also get a free poster. But overall, its a great game and I recommend it for any WWF fan.
